Southwark Cathedral Chapter is committed to working for unity amongst Christians and does so both locally and through our international links
The Unity Group
The group meets regularly to foster good relationships with our local partners, together with our links with Bergen and Rouen Cathedrals.

The Unity Forum
A gathering of clergy and lay people from Southwark Cathedral, St George's Roman Catholic Cathedral and St Olav's Norwegian Church, Rotherhithe. The Forum meets once a term to talk about issues of mutual concern and to arrange joint activities. It meets in rotation in each of the three churches and is convened by the local clergy representative. International Ecumenical Links
Southwark Cathedral has two ecumenical partners overseas: The Roman Catholic Church in Rouen, Normandy, France and the Lutheran Cathedral of St Olav, Bergen in Norway. There are regular visits of lay people and clergy between the three cathedrals. The Cathedral choirs have been on a number of tours to Bergen and Rouen, and members of the Cathedral congregation have joined with friends from both Cathedrals on other pilgrimages.
Should you wish to know more about these link, please contact Andrew Viner by email.
Our links with St George's Roman Catholic Cathedral in Lambeth and St Olav’s Norwegian Church, Rotherhithe are local manifestations of our international ecumenical relationships.
