Volunteering at the Learning Centre
Our work is made possible by the committed group of volunteers who support the Education Officer in delivering our programme of trails and workshops. We are always delighted to welcome new members to our team. Experience of working with children is desirable, though not necessary.
Support for the Learning’s Work
As the Cathedral’s most extensive social outreach project, we support the Cathedral in its mission engage with schools and families and welcome thousands of young people into the Cathedral to learn about its history, heritage and working life every year. As a charitable trust we rely on income generated through visits to and from the generous support of donors cover our running costs. We are extremely grateful for the support that we receive from individuals and organisations.
