As we enter the season of Passiontide, we invite you to join us in following in the Stations of the Cross. This devotion has formed part of Christian liturgy for many centuries, offering us a chance to walk with Jesus on his way to the cross, but this Southwark version links some of the key events of the Passion with particular places in the cathedral. Sometimes the link between subject and place will be obvious, at others you may have to think a little harder.

Each station offers a vivid insight into Jesus’ last day, starting with his condemnation to death and ending with the laying of his body in the tomb and as we carry the cross together, we will seek to enter more deeply into the wonder of God’s love for us through prayer, poetry and silence.
