Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Friday 25 April
Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted between 11am and 12pm due to a memorial service taking place. The Cafe and Shop will remain open for the duration.
Saturday 3 May
The Cathedral will be closed to visitors from 2pm on this day to prepare for an event in the evening.
