Since the 7th century people have been praying and worshipping in this holy place where we follow the monastic tradition by having regular services each day of the week.

The act of worship stands at the heart of what we do at Southwark Cathedral and below you will find the times of our regular services and how to attend or view online.

Sunday Services 

8.30am - Morning Prayer (in-person only)

9am - Eucharist (in-person only)

11am - Choral Eucharist (online and in-person)

3pm - Choral Evensong (in-person only)

6pm - Night Prayer (Compline) (online only except the 4th Sunday of the month when also in person)

6pm - Compline and Benediction (online and in person on the 4th Sunday of the month)


Weekday Services

9am - Morning Prayer (online and in-person)

9.30am - Eucharist (in person only and Tuesday's only)

12.30pm - Midday Prayer (in person only)

12.45pm - Eucharist (in person only)

5.30pm - Evening Prayer or Choral Evensong (in person only) *4pm from 21 July to 9 September when the choir is on holiday.


Saturday Services

9am - Morning Prayer (online and in-person)

9.30am - Eucharist (in-person only)

4pm - Evening Prayer (in-person only)
