Please help secure the future of Southwark Cathedral

Your support will enable us to offer a full programme of daily worship, music, and education.

If you can, please consider donating to help ensure the financial viability of the Cathedral.

Your help will make a real difference, and with your support we will be able to:

  • Meet the spiritual needs of our community, providing a place of welcome
  • Care for our fabric and safeguard our heritage
  • Protect our choral music

Each donation will help to safeguard the Cathedral's future.

Thank you.

Legacies

We welcome gifts in Wills to enable us to continue our mission. After your family and friends have been provided for, please consider leaving a gift to Southwark Cathedral. Even a small percentage of your estate can have a transformative impact.

It’s easy to make or alter a will, and most charity donations in the UK are free from inheritance tax (Southwark Cathedral is treated as an exempt charity by HMRC). All you need to do is:

  • seek professional legal advice to assist you with writing your will
  • alternatively, add a codicil to an existing will

Gifts in Memory

Giving in memory can be a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one. You can remember their life by giving a financial gift to the Cathedral, with your donation going toward the things they enjoyed most; perhaps our choral music or the wonderful T.C. Lewis organ.

If you are a UK tax payer please consider completing and returning a Gift Aid Declaration. Please download a form here
