Join Astrophysicist Ian Hall FRAS for a storytelling journey about our cosmic companion

How and when was the Moon formed and why does it orbit the Earth? How does it affect us? What is our relationship with the Moon and how was this changed by the NASA Apollo missions of the 1960’s? What will our future relationship with the Moon be like with the commencement of the NASA Artemis missions and who might be the next person to walk there?

Tickets for this family friendly presentation which will take place in the Cathedral library includes a visit to see artist Luke Jerram's stunning Museum of the Moon installation which will be suspended in the Cathedral.

Presentation length: 45 minutes and suitable for all ages 8+. Visit to Museum of the Moon will take place after the presentation.
