Black History Month Services
Throughout October we have been marking both Black History Month and #blacklivesmatter with a service each Sunday at 6pm
The Very Revd Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark conducted interviews with members of the Cathedral congregation and our sister church at St Hugh's Bermondsey and these interviews have been combined with readings, prayers and music.
We are grateful to Eric Collins, Lulu Nongauza, Tomi Ogunjobi and Joseph Goba for sharing their powerful and moving stories with us. We are also grateful to Ada Wilson-Jones, Dandison Allen-Thomas, Augustus Booth and Christine Vardy for reading the scriptures for us during these services.
