In 2019 Academy Award winning screenwriter, activist and parishioner Dustin Lance Black released his acclaimed memoir Mama's Boy – A Memoir

Southwark Cathedral were delighted to host an evening at the Cathedral with Dustin Lance Black in May 2019 and we were due to carry on the conversation this year for the paperback edition but this planned event was sadly cancelled due to the pandemic.

We were delighted that Dustin joined the Very Reverend Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark for a cosy online conversation early in December reflecting on all that has happened in 2020 and looking forward to where things may be heading in 2021 and their favourite Christmas film!
