City Harvest food charity is delighted to celebrate National Harvest Festival at Southwark Cathedral and open its exhibition ‘The Beauty of Food Redistribution’ for 2 weeks to the public. The National Harvest Festival service will be on Sunday 6th October 11am, with a foreword from HMQ.

Free to the public, City Harvest’s roaming art exhibition ‘The Beauty of Food Redistribution’ invites the public to interact with AI, 3D animation and augmented reality – exploring the beauty of sharing food and its stunning social impact.

This year, in partnership with British Food Fortnight we see the Harvest torch being brought from Peterborough Cathedral to Southwark Cathedral, where it will reside for the next 12 months.

City Harvest celebrates its 10-year anniversary of helping feed people in need and ensure no good food is wasted. In a celebration of farming and nutritious food together with British Food Fortnight and New Covent Garden Market we look at how City Harvest addresses food waste and food poverty by ensuring no good food is wasted and helps nourish those less fortunate.
