8.30am - 6.00pm daily
Serving breakfast, lunch and high tea, with a seasonal menu that will highlight the very best of British produce. A selection of traditional breakfast dishes all made fresh on site will include the Bread Ahead bacon sandwich, and poached eggs & smashed avocado on freshly baked sourdough among other plates. Freshly baked patisserie, including Bread Ahead’s signature doughnuts and cinnamon buns will take centre stage in the late morning. Salads, soups made from locally sourced vegetables, and light sandwiches can be selected for lunch, ahead of a high tea which is served in the afternoon. A curated list of wines and beers, as well as hot & cold drinks will be on offer throughout the day.
Access and Toilets
The Southwark Cathedral Cafe toilets are reached by a set of winding stone steps. Accessible toilets with, baby-changing facilities, can be found on the ground floor at the west end of Lancelot's Link.
The Southwark Cathedral Cafe is accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with pushchairs through the Millenium Courtyard entrance on the north side of the Cathedral.
