Come and sing Evensong with the Southwark Cathedral Choir.

This June, Southwark Cathedral will be hosting a series of musical outreach projects including a celebration of Choral Evensong. Director of Music and Cathedral Organist, Ian Keatley, is inviting parish church choirs from the Diocese of Southwark to sing Evensong with Southwark Cathedral Choir on Sunday 16 June at 3pm.

Ian commented, ‘I am delighted that the following choirs have already signed up for this grand occasion: Southwark Cathedral, Croydon Minster, St Michael and All Angels Croydon, St Alfege Greenwich, St Mary's Battersea, St Peter’s Streatham and St Mary the Virgin Wimbledon. If you sing in a parish church choir in the Diocese of Southwark, please come and join us! '

This celebration of Choral Evensong is part of the Cathedral's new Music Outreach Programme which includes  an Organ Extravaganza for school children in the diocese on Wednesday 5 June and Organ Masterclasses for adults. To find out more and to register, contact ian.keatley@southwark.anglican.org
