Join us for a unique musical experience and prepare to be amazed and moved by Dariia's incredible talent as she performs on the iconic Southwark Cathedral organ.

This recital promises to be unforgettable, so mark your calendars and invite your friends for an afternoon of beautiful music in the stunning setting of Southwark Cathedral.

The programme includes works by Mykola Kolessa, Myroslaw Skoryk, Maurice Durufle, Maurice Ravel and others.

Dariia Lytvishko was born in 1995 in Lutsk, western Ukraine. She received her first piano lessons at the age of three and later also organ, singing, and choir conducting lessons. After studies in piano at the Volyn State College of Culture and Arts, Luzk, she studied at the University of Church Music Herford-Witten, Herford (Germany), where she received her Master's degree in church music in 2022.

Her international concert schedule has taken her to:

The United Kingdom (Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral in London and others); France (Temple protestant de l'Oratoire du Louvre in Paris, opening of the "International Organ Festival of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral", and others); Italy (opening of “International Organ Festival at the Pantheon in Roma”); Germany (International Organ Festivals and others); Belgium (St. Niklaaskerk in Ghent and others); Canada (charity concert tour for Ukraine, including at venues such as St. Paul’s Bloor Street Church, Toronto; St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Ottawa); Monaco; Switzerland; Finland; Norway; Spain and Ukraine.

Her versatile, intensive and regular work as a choir conductor are testament to this.

In November 2024, her debut CD was recorded with NAXOS, one of the world's leadings labels for classical music, with which she recently signed an exclusive contract.

In 2022-2023 Dariia Lytvishko was an artist in residence at “De Principaal” in Ghent, organist at the Emmaus parish in Herford, Chor Director at the Marienkirche, Herford, Bad Oyenhausen, and assistant to the regional church music director of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia, Harald Sieger. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, Dariia Lytvishko has given 40 benefit concerts on the organ and piano in aid of Ukraine raising over 66,000 euros to date.

Icons on Ammunation Boxes (Exhibition)

Icons painted on ammunition boxes will be on display at Southwark Cathedral from 7 -27 February, serving as silent witnesses to the war in Ukraine. This is the conceptual project of Ukrainian artists Sofiia Atlantova and Oleksandr Klymenko. This project is currently cared for in the UK by the Rotary Clubs of Guildford Chantries and Kyiv-Capital and Ukrainian Charity Foundation ‘Peli can live’.

The icons are for sale, and all funds raised will support purchasing the vehicles for medical units near the frontline.
