Begin the season of Advent with a candlelit service of music and readings at Southwark Cathedral.

The Advent Procession service begins in darkness, with the Cathedral Choir singing from different parts of the building. As the readings and music unfold, candles are gradually lit, filling the Cathedral with light.

A beautiful and reflective way to mark the beginning of Advent, the service offers a moment to pause amid the busyness of the season and look ahead to Christmas.

All are welcome.

Free tickets for this service will be released at 10am, Monday 9 November.
