Give up your bed for one night, raise funds, and stand in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness across Southwark and Lambeth.

We look forward to welcoming you for the Robes SleepOut 2026. Since 2010 Southwark Cathedral have organised and hosted an annual fundraising SleepOut for Robes. This is a major event generating the bulk of income for the Robes Project.

By giving up their cosy bed and sleeping out in the open air for one night, those taking part help alleviate local homelessness, show solidarity and make a difference to those rough sleeping in Southwark and Lambeth.

As an adult or young person with a parent or guardian, you can register to participate in the SleepOut at robes.org.uk/sleepout-robes/

Not able to sleep overnight? No problem! Come join us for the SleepOut evening entertainment.

About Robes Project

The Robes Project provides a winter night shelter, food, clothes, services, and support to Guests who are Homeless in South London.

  • Robes provides advocacy services year-round to assist and support Homeless men and women into employment and permanent housing with dignity.
  • Robes provides a volunteer-led Winter Night Shelter for those in need, providing safety, a warm bed, somewhere to sleep, and a community to connect to. We offer tailored advice, guidance, and referrals in all areas, and work in partnership with our guests to help them move on to longer-term accommodation.
  • Once in their new dwellings, we offer a tenancy sustainment floating support service, aimed at preventing repeat rough sleeping.
  • Both our current and former guests are welcome at our Wednesday Club all year round, where they can receive breakfast, a hot lunch, and showers. Wednesday Club gives guests a chance to reconnect with their community, play games, have a laugh, and get support from our dedicated advice workers if they're facing challenges.
  • Robes also coordinates over 550+ volunteers across South London to host the winter night shelters and provide meals, support, and a safe and warm night’s sleep from November through March.

Robes is a small but mighty charity, and with the assistance of our amazing volunteers, we are proud to support those who need it most.
