A festive evening of carols, music, celebrity readings and seasonal reflections at Southwark Cathedral, raising vital funds in support of Crisis.

Crisis Carol Concert 2026 is a festive evening at Southwark Cathedral featuring traditional carols performed by the Canterbury Chamber Choir, special performances from the Crisis Choir, made up of people experiencing homelessness, celebrity readings, and reflections from Crisis members. All funds raised will support Crisis' work to help people build their lives beyond homelessness.

About Canterbury Chamber Choir
Founded in 1995 Canterbury Chamber Choir has established itself as one of Kent’s most accomplished vocal ensembles. Under the direction of Peter Futcher the choir continues to broaden its horizons with imaginative programming and an ever-evolving repertoire. Its concerts aim to inspire audiences, and affirm the power of choral music to enrich and connect communities. The choir is especially delighted to be returning to Southwark Cathedral for a second year to sing at this special carol service.

About the Crisis Choir
The Crisis Choir is made up of Crisis members who are experiencing homelessness, and a small number of staff and volunteers join each Christmas. The choir meet every Tuesday evening from mid-October to rehearse for our annual Crisis Carol Concert. Despite many of our choir facing personal challenges, they commit their time and energy to bring joy, hope and to help raise awareness of the vital services that Crisis provides.
