A special annual service celebrating Lammas (or "Loaf Mass") giving thanks for the first-fruits of the wheat harvest.

We begin at Bread Ahead in Borough Market, where the first grain, flour and bakery are blessed, before processing to Southwark Cathedral with the newly baked Lammas loaf.

The loaf is then presented and shared during the Eucharist, connecting this ancient tradition with the life of the Cathedral today.
