Experience Jane Austen's classic tale "Sense and Sensibility" like never before with The Pantaloons in our ancient Churchyard

Join the critically acclaimed Pantaloons theatre company as they celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th Anniversary with their 2025 touring production of Sense and Sensibility.

Elinor Dashwood has a lot of good Sense. Her sister Marianne Dashwood has an excess of Sensibility. Together they make a snappy title for Jane Austen’s classic novel of scandals, scoundrels and severely sprained ankles.

This funny, fast-paced and faithful new adaptation from the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company features live music, audience interaction, romance and heartbreak.

Please note there will be very limited seating due to this performance taking place outside in our historic churchyard. We strongly advise you bring a chair or blanket. There will be a cash bar available to buy drinks and snacks but do feel free to bring your own.

Gates open at 6pm.

This performance will last for 2 hours with a 20 minute interval.
