A rotating display of objects discovered on the Thames foreshore by members of London’s mudlarking community, presented in the exhibition cases in the Cathedral Link.

Discover objects recovered from the Thames foreshore in a series of changing mudlarking displays in the Cathedral Link at Southwark Cathedral.

Mudlarking reveals fragments of London’s past – from pottery and glass to everyday objects lost along the river centuries ago. The displays bring together artefacts and artworks created or discovered by members of London’s mudlarking community, offering small but fascinating glimpses into the lives of those who lived and worked along the Thames.

Throughout the year different mudlarks present their finds and creative responses to the river’s history.

Current displays include work by Simon Fellows, Julia Burnett, Richard Hemmery, and Barbara Bradley and Sue Langley.

Please note that display changeover dates may vary.
