An evening of newly written music, discussion and poetry.
Peaceful protest is a powerful and public way to make our voices heard. An Amnesty International report shows that protest is increasingly restricted. This labyrinth, through its fingerprint shape, makes a link between protest and the risk of arrest. It invites us to reflect on the right to peaceful assembly.
Join us for a lively evening of newly written music, discussion and poetry. Meet the artists, walk the labyrinth and add your own fingerprint.
The labyrinth will be installed in the South Transept of the Cathedral 9–14 August and is available to all visitors to the Cathedral.
It is a project of the Iona Community.
