Join us on Trinity Sunday as we welcome one of India's leading human rights activists Bezwada Wilson on how his work has transformed the lives of thousands of marginalised people in India.
Bezwada Wilson is one of India’s most prominent human rights activists and the National Convenor of the Safai Karmachari Andolan (SKA) – a nationwide movement to eradicate the dehumanising practice of manual scavenging. Born into a Dalit Christian family forced into this work, Wilson has spent over 30 years challenging deep-rooted injustice through grassroots organising, legal action, and public advocacy. A member of the Church of South India, his faith has been central to his mission. In 2016, he received the Ramon Magsaysay Award, Asia’s highest honour for public service.
