An evening of music by Palestrina, his contemporaries and those he inspired.

Palestrina’s style has been described as ‘the model of perfect achievement’. To celebrate the 500th anniversary of Palestrina’s birth, we will perform some of his works, and also give some context by singing works by some earlier composers who influenced Palestrina and some later ones that were, in turn, influenced by Palestrina.
