Come and see part of an irreplaceable piece of social history.
The UK AIDS Memorial Quilt is an irreplaceable piece of social history and one of the quilt's panels will be on display in the Cathedral later the month.
The quilt tells the stories of many of those lost in the early days of the HIV AIDS epidemic in the 1980s and 1990s. Each panel is approximately 4m square and was made to commemorate someone who died of AIDS.
The quilt aims to show how far we have come in the fight againt HIV, but also to raise awareness of how much further there is to go.
This display is possible thanks to the support of the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt Conservation Partnership and Positive East. Please see positiveeast.org.uk for more information.
