An online talk about Edward Alleyn - Elizabethan actor at the Rose Playhouse Bankside and Church Warden at Southwark Cathedral

The Rose Playhouse was the fifth purpose built theatre in London and the first theatre on Bankside in the16th century. The site was developed by Philip Henslowe, and the principal actor at this theatre was Edward Alleyn, Henslowe's son in law, and soon to be founder of Dulwich College.
