DEA Music Academy, a not for profit organisation was founded in 2013 by the concert violinist Alda Dizdari with the support of Southwark Council. The Academy is helping the local community celebrate cultural diversity and creativity through music.

For the past seven years this vibrant music community has helped local children, some from underprivileged backgrounds as well as children with learning difficulties to create, integrate and achieve life changing goals. The Academy provides the highest standard of teaching, with an excellent team of musicians that have active performing careers and a lot of experience. All teaching is tailor made to suit individuals, mainly one to one music tuition in instruments violin, piano and guitar.

Our main focus is to have a positive impact in the lives of young people by bringing music and creativity into their lives. We already have excellent track record from our work in the past four years. The whole musical experience is based on performing, with public performances at least every term as well as preparing for ABRSM Grade exams that improve chances of students being accepted in their favoured secondary schools or becoming music scholars.
