City of London Sinfonia performs Bach’s monumental work: the B Minor Mass
Renowned conductor, organist and harpsichordist John Butt conducts JS Bach’s most monumental work, the B Minor Mass, in City of London Sinfonia's Bach and the Cosmos finale at Southwark Cathedral.
The Orchestra is joined by baritone and guest director for the series Roderick Williams OBE, sopranos Joanne Lunn and Rowan Pierce, alto Robin Blaze and tenor Charles Daniels.
During the performance, audience members can move around freely as City of London Sinfonia musicians and Epiphoni Consort perform in different areas of the Cathedral, exploring the beautiful spaces and changing acoustics throughout.
