Join us to mark the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven.

On Ascension Day we mark the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, forty days after Easter. Join us as we mark this feast in a number of ways.

8am | The Dean will be lead a group of people up to the top of the tower to sing Ascension Day hymns and hear the reading from the Acts of the Apostles.  Please remember that there are a great many steps to climb. The group will have descended in time for Morning Prayer at 9am.

5.30pm | Choral Eucharist at which the preacher will be Fr Thomas Sharp, Succentor
7pm | Ascension Day organ meditation given by Simon Hogan
