My favourite part of Southwark Cathedral is the Harvard Chapel for two main reasons

The Reserved Sacrament is there, as a focus for prayer and reflection in silence; and I’m also fascinated by the lower part of the stained glass window in the Tiffany style.

I love the slices of coloured glass creating texture and movement; and a reminder that art effortlessly crosses national boundaries and needs no translation.

Other less-noticed things include one of the ancient bits of the Cathedral poking out from a corner….and that Doorkins (the cat) used to park herself on one of the chairs whenever she wanted, regardless of what was going on in the chapel!
