Leave a Gift in your Will
All gifts play a vital role, and by remembering Southwark Cathedral in your will, you can help to safeguard the work, music and mission of this wonderful building for future generations. You can support the Cathedral generally, or choose to support something specific, such as the fabric of the building, or the Cathedral Choir.
Even a small percentage of your estate can have a transformative impact.
It's easy to make or alter a will, and most charitable donations in the UK are free from inheritance tax (HMRC treats Southwark Cathedral as an exempt charity).
If you wish to support us, all you need to do is;
- Seek professional legal advice to assist you with writing your will
- Alternatively, add a codicil to an existing will

Make a Gift in Memory
Giving in memory can be a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one. You can remember the life of a loved one by giving a financial gift to Southwark Cathedral, with your donation going toward the things they enjoyed most; perhaps our choral music or the wonderful T.C. Lewis organ.
Members of the congregation can also recognise or celebrate special occasions.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift at no additional cost to yourself through Gift Aid.
