10.00 Caro Rathbone - An exhibition of paintings

Caro Rathbone’s paintings are largely abstract although sometimes with representational elements. Using oils, watercolour, gouache and mixed media as seems appropriate, she aims to reflect the joys and tribulations of life in her work. Aged 19, Caro was awarded a scholarship to study painting at the Royal Academy Schools. Over the years, she has shown and sold her work in both shared and one woman exhibitions. Caro is giving all proceeds from sales from this exhibition to Southwark Cathedral where, nearly seven years ago, she was married to Bill Rathbone.
