Thames Link, the redevelopment of London Bridge and the building of the Shard of Glass

The Dean and Chapter welcome the development of London Bridge Station, the Thames Link 2000 project and the building of the Shard of Glass.

All three stakeholders have reassured the Dean and Chapter that building works will cease during special Cathedral services. Building works will cease on Fridays and resume on Mondays.

Borough Market will remain open throughout the regeneration programme.

Staff at the Cathedral remain in close contact with the operators and developers for all three projects.
