London Bridge Station Redevelopment

New London Bridge

Over the next four years there will be service changes at various times affecting London Bridge station. This is part of the major redevelopment which will result in a new station, better access and more trains.

20 December 2014 – January 2018

  • Thameslink route services will be diverted away from London Bridge station

January 2015 – August 2016

  • Southeastern services to, and from Charing Cross will not call at London Bridge. Cannon Street services will still serve London Bridge.

January 2015 onwards

  • Southeastern services from New Cross, St. Johns, Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, Woolwich Dockyard, Plumstead, Belvedere and Erith stations will be diverted to and from Cannon Street.

30 April 2016 - February 2018

Closures to Tooley Street. More details here.

16 June 2016 onwards

The escalators serving platforms 10 to 15 for access to the Tube and Tooley Street will be closing permanently on 16 June to allow essential works to take place for the new concourse opening in August. More details here.

August 2016 – early 2018

  • Southeastern services to, and from Cannon Street will not call at London Bridge. Charing Cross services resume calling at London Bridge.
