July:

Southwark Cathedral Education Centre; one share
Working annually with 9,000 children from inner city schools, the Education Centre is the Cathedral’s most extensive social outreach project.

USPG; one share
Their aim lies in supporting Churches and communities in the Anglican Communion all around the world in mission and service.

August:

Cathedral’s mission to refugees (via USPG); one share
At the time of allocation the cathedral had a live connection with the camp in Calais, which was subsequently demolished. This share, therefore, has been sent to Us in addition to the amount above, specifically for the church’s work in Athens with refugees.

Manna Centre; one share
Linking with Robes Project, the Manna centre provides support in Southwark for homeless people. The Cathedral gives a share every year.

September:

Mildmay; half share
This HIV Charity has a hospital in London and also works in East Africa.

Children of Fire; half share
As Africa’s first burns charity for children, Children of Fire provides surgery and post-traumatic care, prevention & mitigation.

October:

Dragon Café; half share
Part of a local project in Southwark (Mental Fight Club), Dragon Café puts on imaginative events for people of all mental experience by using creativity to connect experiences of mental illness and the journey through recovery.

Nepal Leprosy Trust / Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital, Nepal; half share
Their mission is it to rescue children with leprosy, as well as earthquake relief and support for the population of Nepal.

November

Crest (Thinkarts); half share
They support people living with mental health problems based in Waltham Forest.

Freedom from Torture; half share
Freedom from Torture provide direct clinical services to survivors of torture who arrive in the UK, as well as striving to protect and promote their rights.

December

Practical Action; half share
This development charity uses technology to challenge poverty in developing countries in order to enable poor communities to build on their skills and knowledge to produce sustainable and practical solutions.

Just Earth; half share
Working in Western Kenya they stand in partnership with local churches to bring spiritual, social, economic and environmental change to communities in the name of Jesus.
